Na het noodgedwongen einde van het Nijmeegse noise rock trio Udarnik begin 2017, vinden bassist Ludo Vlaar en drummer Chief W. na een zwervende periode in Hans Wubs een nieuwe gitarist/riffmeister. Patrick T. (aka Rudeboy Remington van o.a. Urban Dance Squad) is onder de indruk van de demo’s en The Cold Vein is geboren.
